Station 13, located in Passaic Park, houses Engine 13. The firehouse itself was constructed in 1981 and was originally home to Passaic Park Protection Hook & Ladder Company #4. In 1997 the Passaic Park Volunteer FD was disbanded and the FDLC took over firefighting operations. Engine 13 responds to an average of 950 runs a year. Multiple warehouses and manufacturing plants like Passaic Paper take up much of the riverfront real estate. There have been multiple 5+ alarm fires in the industrial park over the years.
