SNORKEL 1 1987 Pierce Arrow 85' Snorkel
This unit kept it's designation of "Snorkel 1" which was what the volunteers at Arcola Fire Dept. Hook & Ladder Co. 1 assigned it. Since this is the only Snorkel unit ever assigned to a F.D.L.C. company, Chief Petersen allowed the designation to remain Snorkel 1 instead of changing the unit to Truck 57. This is the only unit in the history of the F.D.L.C. to not have it's designation changed when the F.D.L.C. took over operations.
